The Latin American Tourism Forum, promoted by the Conpeht Foundation and the Pan American Confederation of Schools of Hospitality, Gastronomy and Tourism, is a platform for opinion and discussion among academics and researchers from Latin America and the Caribbean on tourism.
Its objective is to provide a specialized perspective on the characteristics, functioning, and impact of tourism on society, the economy, culture, and sustainability.
Starting with the fourth edition, a new “Analysis” section has been introduced to address current challenges and issues. In this edition, it is dedicated to the phenomenon of “Overtourism” and its global effects.
